Hi, I'm Beverley, and I'm the founder of Privileged Prints. For too long, I've hidden behind the scenes, but it's time to tell you the real story of how this little art print business came to be.It wasn't a business plan. It was survival.In 2019, I made what felt like the bravest (or most foolish) decision of my life - I decided to start completely fresh. I'd become single, my nest was empty, and I was coming to terms with a chronic illness diagnosis. So I found this gorgeous flat with incredible potential and moved in at the end of November 2019.I made a practical decision: paint everything white to make it look clean for Christmas family photos. The real decorating could wait until the New Year. Nobody could have imagined what 2020 would bring.I'd left behind 90% of my furniture - after all, a fresh start can't come with memories of an old life, right? The plan was simple: spend January shopping for furniture, adding colour, creating the home I'd always dreamed of.Then lockdown hit.Suddenly, I was trapped in a white-walled flat with minimal furniture and no way to go shopping. No browsing homeware stores, no weekend trips to find the perfect pieces. Just me, four white walls, and the strangest circumstances anyone could have predicted.
